The present work aims to contribute to the management of the natural resources of the Permanent Preservation Area Córrego Água Fria, through the analysis of the local ecotourism potential. The methodology applied consisted of field visits with GPS for georeferencing the location and the existing trail, in addition to photographic records. TrackerMaker software was used and altimetric maps, slope, land use, contour and relief maps were created through the creation of a Geographic Information System (GIS) using the QGIS platform. The studied fragment has a total of 18.44 hectares of extension and there are few and short trails. The “Cutia trail” is 236 meters long and is a minimal intervention trail, single track, short, linear and light with few obstacles. The slope is low in the region of the Agouti trail, being in the center of the fragment the place with the greatest slope and with the greatest difficulty of access, requiring improvements for the implementation of trails. Most of the study area is classified as undulating and strong – undulating relief. According to the altitude map, the terrain varies from 7 to 41 meters, the highest part being the place where the trail is inserted. On the Cutia trail, we detected 6 points of ecotourism interest, which can be used for interpretive trails. Therefore, it is concluded that the site has great ecotourism potential, requiring equipment to be installed to improve access to trails, especially in the center of the fragment.
