APPLICATION OF LIQUID AND SOLID FERTILIZERS IN ALPHAFA CULTURE

Abstract

In order to evaluate the different ways of applying liquid and solid fertilizers in cover, and comparing before and after the levels of nutrients in the soil at the end of the 7 (seven) cuts in the management of the cultivation of alfalfa, an experiment was carried out on the São Carlos farm in the Municipality of Bandeirantes-Pr located between the coordinates 50º32'33 ”WO and 23º15'41” S. The results are for 14 months and when the plant was between 39 and 51 days old compared to the previous cut; 7 cuts could be made in the period, before each cut, the heights of 20 plants per plot on the first leaf below flowering were measured and the leaf area index (IAF) and dry matter (MS) total area considered (1m2) were evaluated . The experimental design used was the randomized blocks with 3 repetitions, with plots of 9 m² (3x3 m) and spacing of 20 centimeters between lines, constituting 21 treatments, totaling 63 plots. In soil analysis, the values ​​of pH, K, Ca, Mg increased after the application of liquid and solid fertilizers.
