Abstract

The Judiciary is included in the agenda of the SDG - Sustainable Development Goals no. 16 of the United Nations (UN), which focuses on promoting sustainable development, access to the justice system and pacifying society (CNJ, 2019; UN, 2019). In this motto, the National Council of Justice (CNJ) issued Resolution no. 201/2015 which deals with the sustainability policy throughout the judiciary, which consists of: adoption of tools that reduce the environmental impact, honor the green and circular economy, provide the formation of ECOREDE among public agencies with the objective of reducing expenses, acquire ecologically returnable products, decrease rework and repetitive actions (CNJ, 2019; CSJT, 2019; TJ / AL, 2019). This work aimed to verify which sustainable actions are being taken by the TRT of Alagoas. It was observed that the Labor Court, through Resolution no. 103/2012 of the Superior Council of Labor Justice (CSJT) introduced objective rules on the acquisition of goods and services in its organs, which should be in all bidding documents (CSJT, 2019; Inovare Prize, 2019). This standard meets the discipline established in art. 24 of Law 8.666 / 93, Bidding Law, as well as in art. 1, item II, of Normative Instruction no. 05/2017 that require federal public bodies to include sustainability criteria and practices (Comprasnet, 2019). It was found that these rules were included in the Alagoas TRT contracting, performed upon compliance with ATO TRT / 19th. 71/2017 whose commitment is to make their purchases from the perspective of sustainability, hypothesis that converges with ODS no. 16 of the UN. This reveals that the Labor Court of Alagoas guides its actions following the world policy of protection and preservation of the sustainable and balanced environment for the benefit of future generations.
