SEXUAL CRIMES AND THE ISSUE OF LEGAL ABORTION IN BRAZIL: AN INTEGRATIVE LITERATURE REVIEW
Abstract
The debate around issues that guide the legal practice of abortion under Brazilian law, allowed in cases of risk of life and complex situations such as the crime of rape, in addition to the recent inclusion of cases of fetal anencephaly, constituting a theme target of numerous studies on social issues and public health . A bibliographic survey was conducted on sexual crimes and the theme of legal abortion in Brazil as a public health problem. This work is configured as a literature review through the descriptors "legal abortion"; "Brazil"; "public health"; through articles published in the last ten years and books of extreme relevance related to the theme. The databases used were: Lilacs, Scielo, PubMed, Science Direct and Scholar. It remains evident that crimes of a sexual nature are responsible for the incidence of concrete cases of legal abortion in Brazil and is a macro-social public health problem.
