Importance of macroeconomic policies for the brazilian economy

Abstract

The article deals with the discussion on the importance of macroeconomic policies for the Brazilian economy, whose main objective is to present and reflect macroeconomic policies in combating some economic distortions. The methodological approach of this paper was the analysis of texts by authors such as: Troster & Mochón. (2004), VASCONCELLOS (2009). The method used in this research was the deductive method, which sailed from large studies to analyze more restricted, thus seeking to ensure a better understanding about the subject. After further reflection on the subject matter, one realizes the importance of policies Fiscal, Monetary, Exchange, Commercial and Income in controlling inflation and promoting stability in the general price level, and the external balance. This fact reveals the State's intervention in this growing economy.
